Approved Electrician Location: Covering South East Company: CC Cousins Full Time (Monday Friday) On call for 9 weeks out of the year Salary: £180 per day (£46,800) - Call out/ Overtime readily available. To further enhance our team, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Approved Electrician, holding a valid JIB Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks across a range of projects. CC Cousins has the pleasure of working with some of the most recognisable names within the industry, with clients including CBRE, Rontec, Savills and Avison Young. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducting electrical installations in accordance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications. Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment (Fault finding/ LED Upgrades/ Board Changes) Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues. Always ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans Collaborating with other trades and team members to ensure successful job completion. Providing guidance and support to apprentices and junior team members. Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used. Keeping abreast of industry developments and changes in regulations. REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as an Approved Electrician. Thorough knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and standards. Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Effective communication skills. Physical fitness and stamina to perform duties in various environments and conditions. Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
