An opportunity has arisen to join an award winning furniture wholesale company as eCommerce Executive, working within the Marketing Team, at our head office in Perth. This is a permanent, on premises, full time position.
We are looking for someone who is able to work independently in an informal office environment, with plenty of room for growth within the role with time, including the opportunity to take ownership of an ever increasing part of our business.
Job Purpose:
The eCommerce Executive role will primarily be to create and manage products data and product listings across the multiple sales channels we employ, ensuring data is accurate and listings are engaging. As a company we have invested in leading technologies to streamline this process and you would take ownership of these tools to use them to their full potential. As a small, family owned company, we all chip in where we are needed and other duties would include assisting the Marketing and Sales departments with tasks including, but not limited to, customer queries, social media management and promotions. There is scope for this role to grow and evolve with the ever changing commerce world, with you being encouraged to take ownership of our eCommerce going forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:Assist in the managing of product data utilising our PIM system.
Product Listings:Take the lead in managing the multiple sales channels, ensuring all products are listed and up to date.
Platform Reviews:Never stop looking to enhance our listings, using SEO and other tools to ensure we are always visible.
Online Sales Strategy:Working with other teams, help ensure our sales strategy and promotional activity are driven forward to improve business growth.
Competitor Analysis:Actively monitor competitors, looking for new trends to ensure we stay current.
System Management:Take ownership of our systems and maintain their operation, helping trouble shoot issues as and when they arise.
Market Trends:Constantly be on the look out for new opportunities for online selling and action these leads
Maintaining Internal Documents:We have a number of in house Spreadsheets we use on a daily basis which regularly need reviewed and updated.
Marketing:Help with e-shots, social media, imagine edits when required.
Customer Service:Assist with customer queries when required.
What you will need to have:
Previous experience managing online sales channels
Previous experience managing internal website
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong data management / analysis skills
Attention to detail
Basic understanding of online shopping behaviours
A Team Player mentality – not be afraid to help out where needed
Bonus points for having knowledge / experience of:
SEO knowledge
Experience with a PIM system
Marketing / Social Media Management
Exposure to accounts systems
Google Ads / Analytics
Adobe Creative Cloud packages
Copywriting
Web development
Customer service experience
Photography and photo editing
Working in a small office environment
This position is full time at our head office in Perth, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Remote/hybrid working is not possible. You must be able to work in the UK.
Salary:Negotiable – starting at £23k pa but entirely based on experience.
