Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will actively promote our range of construction products to Developers, Contractors, Architects and Engineers in the Midlands & North Leinster area. The role combines strong technical knowledge with excellent sales skills to identify opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry. This is primarily a field-based role
Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities for Mannok’s full range of construction products through direct engagement with Contractors and Developers.
* Monitor construction projects on CIS from planning stage to identify product promotion opportunities.
* Build relationships with Contractors, Developers and their design teams by offering bespoke cost effective solutions to meet specific project requirements.
* Provide technical guidance and product recommendations based on customer needs and project specifications.
* Carry out technical presentations for stakeholders, including product training and CPD’s.
* Liaise with Mannok sale team and technical support agents on potential and ongoing projects.
* Visit sites during construction stage to offer advice on best practice whilst using our products and to help solve any challenges which may arise.
* Strong understanding of the construction industry, construction products and building regulations.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Skills and Qualifications
* Third level qualification in a construction related discipline is preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in construction products.
