About the role
Are you keenly interested in a career in education but need an opportunity to gain insight and experience in research and development? This fully entry-level intern role is designed to offer just that. Cambridge University Press & Assessment is recruiting for a Curriculum Development Intern. You will be working alongside a team of friendly and collaborative curriculum specialists to develop an excellent understanding of curriculum research and obtain the essential skills required for a career in a wide range of education roles.
As part of this role, you will:
1. Undergo training in education research and development, particularly comparative education research and apply that training to real curriculum developments.
2. Be part of curriculum development teams, supporting with routine administrative tasks and communication with external partners and internal colleagues.
3. Evaluate and compare international frameworks to make recommendations for improving our process
4. Edit and write reports to present research findings to senior audiences.
5. Learn about international curriculum, education debates and comparative education.
You may also:
6. Work on bespoke education reform projects for Ministries of Education across the world.
About you
You will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in education trends and research. You do not need previous research experience or a degree in education, but you should be able to demonstrate interest in education policy, and document analysis. You will need good administrative skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
