Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry

We are seeking a dedicated Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our client in Plymouth, Devon. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start and involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert psychiatric care to adult patients within a community mental health setting
* Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
* Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
* Ensure adherence to the Mental Health Act (MHA) and clinical governance standards
* Participate in case reviews, clinical audits, and service improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
* Full GMC registration
* Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
* Proven experience in Adult Psychiatry, particularly within CMHT settings
* Previous experience in a Consultant role within the NHS
