Customer Service Administrator
The Growth Company’s (GC) Education and Skills team is excited to offer a fantastic new opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator. In this role, you will ensure that accurate data is entered within relevant systems to claim funding from various agencies, and to assist with a variety of administration duties.
This role will be based at the Rochdale Skills Centre. Please note, it is a part-time position of 30 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £19,731, based on the full-time equivalent rate of pay.
We will be reviewing applications and conducting interviews on a rolling basis upon receipt of CVs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assess the eligibility of new applications to ensure that companies and individuals meet the required funding criteria.
2. Invigilate exams, tests, and initial assessments, providing necessary administrative support.
3. Handle sensitive data related to students, learners, and employers with care.
4. Register individuals for qualifications and ensure compliance with Awarding Body procedures to meet centre approval requirements.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current funding programmes, eligibility criteria, and necessary paperwork to ensure data quality.
6. Manage daily finance processes, including handling petty cash, raising purchase orders, and checking invoices.
7. Support the overall learner journey by providing assistance to students and employers as needed.
8. Ensure the training centre is fully resourced and suitable for classroom delivery, and provide front-of-house reception service, handling all enquiries swiftly and ensuring Safeguarding requirements are met at all times.
About you
9. GCSE - Maths & English Grade 4/C or level 2 equivalent.
10. Limited specific knowledge required.
11. Ability to deliver a customer focused internal and external service.
12. To be motivated and drive to complete tasks.
13. Car user desirable with access to a vehicle.
Skills Required
14. Fully conversant with all Microsoft packages.
15. Communication at all levels including good written communication.
16. Customer service and administration experience.
