We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy property department. You will support conveyancers and solicitors in managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the day-to-day running of conveyancing files
* Preparing and sending out legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
* Carrying out searches and reviewing results
* Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
* Handling post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
About You:
* Previous experience in a conveyancing role is preferred
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficiency with case management systems and MS Office
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A proactive and client-focused attitude
