Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer London, United Kingdom (On-site)
PPM Engineer - Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court - Nights
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. The engineer must work autonomously and prioritize safety. Travel between stations is required, so a full driver’s license is essential.
The key deliverables of this role are as follows:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery in line with business expectations
* Working as part of a team and independently as required
* Maintaining health and safety practices
* Monitoring work for compliance
* Using ServiceNow platform for updates and reports
Responsibilities include:
* Providing accurate site reports on activities
* Completing maintenance according to schedule
* Ensuring maintenance standards are met and reporting issues
* Completing administrative tasks promptly
* Complying with QEHS and Drug & Alcohol policies
Qualifications / Skill Requirements:
* Understanding of system maintenance procedures related to the contract
* Experience with relevant systems
* Experience in the LUL or Rail environment
Who you are:
Seeking an engineer with knowledge of PPM, preferably with London Underground or Network Rail experience. The role involves working nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am. Previous experience in fire maintenance, especially fire extinguishers, or within London Underground/Network Rail is required. A full UK driving license and drug & alcohol testing are mandatory.
