Aviation Planning Manager / Aircraft Maintenance Planning Lead (MRO / Part 145)

Aircraft availability depends on great planning. We’re supporting a specialist aviation engineering organisation looking for an experienced Aviation Planning Manager / Aircraft Maintenance Planning Lead to bring structure, visibility and performance to aircraft maintenance planning within a regulated Part 145 MRO environment.
This role sits at the centre of operations, coordinating aircraft maintenance schedules, workshop production planning and engineering resources to ensure maintenance programmes are delivered safely, compliantly and on time.
Working closely with CAMO, engineering teams, procurement and operations, you’ll help ensure aircraft maintenance activity runs smoothly while supporting AOG events, modification programmes and component overhaul activity.
The Role
* Lead aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling across aviation engineering operations
* Coordinate planning across Part 145 MRO maintenance and workshop activity
* Manage engineering resource planning and maintenance schedules
* Support AOG events and reactive maintenance requirements
* Work with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure parts availability
* Monitor planning KPIs, reporting and operational performance
Experience
* Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning / Aviation Planning / MRO Planning
* Background in Part 145 maintenance organisations, aviation engineering or defence aviation
* Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance scheduling and engineering operations
* Experience using planning tools such as MS Project, Excel or MRO systems (Aerotrac or similar)
