Walker & Sloan are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a market-leading construction business delivering exceptional projects across the South West and Midlands. This is your chance to be part of a winning pre-construction team with a reputation for accuracy, competitiveness, and quality.
The role:
* Analyse tender documentation and compile detailed cost estimates
* Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors
* Evaluate quotes and ensure cost-effective solutions
* Maintain accurate pricing databases
* Present estimates to senior management and clients
You’ll need:
* Proven experience in construction estimating (main contracting)
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* Familiarity with estimating software (e.g. ConQuest, Causeway)
* Strong commercial awareness and market knowledge
