This opportunity is ideal for a dermatology nurse or a nurse with a strong interest in dermatology, looking to develop new skills and progress their career within a supportive, innovative, and patient-focused environment. The role is based at our Stratum Dermatology Clinics (Wimbledon), a modern facility offering expert care in a welcoming setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Support patients throughout their clinic journey, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care at all times
* Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centred nursing care across dermatology clinics and minor surgical services
* Undertake comprehensive patient assessments, contributing to care planning, delivery and evaluation within agreed protocols
* Assist dermatologists and surgeons during consultations and procedures, including minor surgery, biopsies and treatments
* Provide pre‑and post‑operative nursing care, including wound care, dressings, patient education and aftercare advice
* Ensure informed consent processes are followed and appropriately documented
* Act as patient advocate, promoting dignity, choice and safety at all times
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role
* Registered Nurse (Adult) Level 1 with NMC registration
* Passion for patient care and delivering high-quality services
* Dermatology experience
* Experience delivering safe, effective patient care in a clinical setting
* Experience in pre‑and post‑operative care, including wound management
* Ability to use electronic patient record systems and clinical IT systems
* Experience working in dermatology, outpatient or private healthcare settings
* Experience assisting with minor surgical procedures and treatments
* Experience working within CQC‑regulated services
