The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team, supporting the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and Shift Maintenance Technicians.
The role involves ensuring all mechanical maintenance tasks are completed safely, on time, and in compliance with site and industry standards, including ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, with a focus on cross-contamination prevention.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the Mechanical Maintenance team, including work allocation, reviewing work packs, and ensuring RAMS are adequate.
2. Overseeing work progress, raising PRs, organizing resources, and documenting work in the CMMS system.
3. Ensuring adherence to safety procedures and promoting a positive safety culture.
4. Contributing to root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
5. Coordinating with the Planning & Scheduling team and Site Engineers to improve plant reliability.
6. Managing compliance with SHEQ standards and reporting incidents or improvements.
7. Supervising external OEM contractors and supporting projects and changeovers.
This role is vital for maintaining safety, equipment performance, and regulatory compliance across the site.
