Key Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, offering financial insights to influence strategic decisions
* Collaborate cross-functionally on long-term planning, business strategies, and investment decisions
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes for logistics and group operations
* Develop robust KPIs and financial models to support operational and strategic decisions
* Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance commentary, highlighting risks and opportunities
* Manage and develop a high-performing team of Finance Business Partners and Analysts
* Set clear objectives, provide coaching, and support career development
* Ensure consistent delivery of value-adding financial insight across the organisation
* Drive inventory accuracy, optimisation, and working capital efficiency
* Support business case development and ROI analysis for key investments
* Champion best practices in stock management and demand planning
* Lead cost-to-serve analysis and financial modelling to support logistics and automation investments
* Monitor efficiency and productivity KPIs, ensuring cost control and financial accountability
* Maintain strong internal controls, ensure compliance, and support audit processes
* Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, reporting, and tools
Skills and Experience
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong experience in finance business partnering, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience influencing senior stakeholders.
* Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Strong knowledge of inventory and working capital optimisation.
* Experience working in a complex, matrixed, and fast-paced business environment.
