Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Manager to generate specifications and sales for Walton Bathrooms across all channels, including Retail and Contracts. This role will focus on developing brand awareness, building strong relationships within the industry, and securing prestigious projects throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

* Develop awareness of the Walton Bathrooms brand with new and existing architects and design practices through direct engagement.
* Achieve sales and margin targets by generating leads and closing sales opportunities.
* Proactively identify and develop new business leads and collaborate with the wider team to expand the Contracts department’s pipeline.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
* Manage and monitor prospects and clients through CRM to track progress and success.
* Identify and secure prestigious projects to enhance the company’s reputation and brand values.
* Oversee the project tender process from initial contact with architects through to establishing relationships with contractors and QS.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with Walton Bathrooms’ key suppliers to support project conversions.
* Continuously develop personal skills and knowledge within the industry.
* Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by management.

Requirements

* Experience specifying bathroom products and selling directly to architects, interior designers, and house builders.
* Exceptional communication, organisational, and presentation skills.
* Driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong relationship-building skills and a professional approach.
