We are working with a highly regarded, specialist private client practice that continues to grow its team of exceptional lawyers. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor to join a technically strong and collaborative environment, with a clear focus on high-value, complex and often cross-border private client work.
The firm has a strong reputation in high net worth estate planning, trust structuring and probate matters, and is looking for individuals who are either already experienced in this space or are keen to develop into it. A genuine interest in HNW and more technical estate and trust work is essential.
STEP qualification is highly desirable, or there should be a clear intention to work towards it.
The Role Will Involve:
You will be working on a broad and varied caseload including:
* Drafting Wills, including complex structures involving life interest and discretionary trusts
* Advising on and administering both testate and intestate estates
* Handling probate matters from instruction through to completion
* Advising on lifetime trusts and supporting ongoing trust administration
* Preparing and advising on Powers of Attorney (Lasting, General and Advance Directives)
* Supporting clients with broader wealth preservation and succession planning needs
Additional Experience (Desirable):
* Court of Protection matters, including deputyship and statutory wills
* Trust disputes and estate-related litigation
* Charitable structures and charitable trusts
* Co-ownership arrangements and declarations of trust
* Business and agricultural property considerations within estate planning
