Role: Study Support Nurse
We are seeking a compassionate and talented individual to join our patient services team on a 3–4 week contract. This role is flexible in terms of hours and is ideal for someone who is passionate about research, innovation and ensuring a high level of patient experience.
Responsibilities
* Conduct nurse screening calls to establish patient eligibility for studies
* Serve as the first line of support for patient queries
* Maintain accurate records of study progress for sponsor review
* Follow up on patient queries as needed
* Maintain strict confidentiality regarding personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act
* Model a patient‑centred approach to wider uMed team members
* Ensure clear and accurate records are maintained
* Undertake supportive tasks delegated by the Director of Patient Services
Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
* Clear enhanced DBS check
* Certification in Good Clinical Practice
* Excellent communication and IT skills
