Job Summary
Family run long established small structural design practice require an additional structural engineer to join their happy team. This expansion is due to increasing workload.
Responsibilities
* Design buildings in all main materials, using Autocad where helpful.
* Run own projects, dealing with clients and architects.
* Handle a varied residential portfolio, with projects ranging from small to £4-5m in build value.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years of buildings design experience, ideally residential sector.
* Ability to use Autocad helpful.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to design in all main materials.
* Full right to work in the UK long term and reside within a reasonable commuting distance.
Additional Information
The practice is small and very friendly, currently consisting of 6 Engineers and 1 Technician. The station is within easy walking distance from the office. No current or future visa sponsorship can be offered.
