About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join our growing Complex Supported Living service.
This is a key leadership role within a service supporting individuals with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and behaviours of concern. The service is expanding, and this role will play a critical part in ensuring new care packages are safely assessed, mobilised, and integrated into the service.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager to support the day-to-day running of the service, while also taking ownership of assessments, care planning, service mobilisation, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities
Assess new referrals and care packages to ensure suitability and safe integration
Work with housing associations, commissioners, and professionals to mobilise new placements
Develop detailed, person-centred care plans and risk assessments
Support the day-to-day management of a complex supported living service
Lead the induction and development of new staff
Provide supervision and operational support to staff teams
Support rota planning and workforce deployment
Ensure the service operates safely and in line with CQC regulations
Support safeguarding, incident management, and quality assurance
Act as a senior point of contact and escalation
About You
You will have:
Experience working within Supported Living services
Experience in a senior role such as Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, or Deputy Manager
Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and supporting individuals with complex needs
Experience supporting service mobilisation or assessments (desirable)
Good leadership and communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care – essential
NVQ Level 5 Health & Social Care (or working towards) – desirable
