Field Service Controller Croydon Up to £37,887 per annum (DOE) 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday (08:00 - 16:30) We are recruiting for a Field Service Controller to join a busy Aftermarket team in Croydon. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you'll coordinate field service activities, manage breakdowns, and support engineers to ensure excellent service delivery. Duties: Handle incoming customer and engineer enquiries Log breakdowns and schedule field service activities Coordinate engineer attendance and provide customer updates Prioritise urgent vehicle-off-road (VOR) cases Manage warranty and chargeable repairs Liaise with third-party repair providers and monitor progress Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPI updates Support service administration and warranty claim submissions Requirements: Previous experience in a service coordination, controller, or customer service role Strong communication and organisational skills Good technical understanding of vehicle or mechanical components Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Desirable: Experience within the motor trade or automotive industry Knowledge of engineer scheduling and field service operations Understanding of warranty processes and service administration This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation offering a competitive salary, stable working hours, and long-term career development.
