About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a fast-paced, high-performing production environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, driving improvements, and embedding Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies across diverse teams. You’ll play a hands-on role in leading RCA activities, implementing sustainable solutions, and coaching junior engineers to develop their technical and professional capability. Key Responsibilities * Lead root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve complex manufacturing issues * Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to deliver improvements * Coach and mentor junior engineers and technicians in lean/CI methods * Promote and embed continuous improvement initiatives across the business * Analyse production data using Minitab/Excel to identify trends and gaps * Implement process improvements, workflow optimisation, and equipment upgrades * Act as a subject matter expert in structured problem-solving and operational excellence About You * 10 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering * Proven background in RCA and structured problem-solving methodologies * Skilled in delivering complex, cross-functional solutions * Demonstrated experience in teaching/coaching lean and CI tools * Proficient in data analysis using Excel, Minitab, or similar software * Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels * Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently Desirable: * Lean Six Sigma or CI qualification * Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline * Experience in regulated or high-volume manufacturing What’s on Offer * Salary £50,000 – £55,000 DOE * Company pension scheme * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Training and career progression opportunities * Permanent, full-time role in a forward-thinking organisation
