The Emergency Department is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Patient Flow Co-Ordinator.
Our Emergency Department is very busy and dynamic with over 300 patients a day attending for treatment.
Our team is friendly, motivated and committed to providing a high quality, expert emergency service for the patients we treat.
The Patient Flow Co-Ordinator role is an important part of the team in managing the day to day flow of patients through the department. IT skills and a good standard of general education are essential along with previous administration experience. Knowledge of Medical terminology is desirable.
South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff. This training programme has been designed to support our staff in developing their understanding of leadership and management skills. You will be expected to attend the following training sessions
After you complete these one and a half days of training, you will be able to explore further leadership and improvement training opportunities. Be able to use a computer competently including the use of Excell spreadsheets.
GCSE in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills (level 2)
Recent acute hospital experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting
