Overview:
An opportunity has arisen for event day Hospitality Managers to join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with an excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Hours of work:
This role is offered on a Casual Worker basis with no guarantee of work.
Shift assignments are fully flexible and may include early starts, late finishes and weekend working
Rates of pay for this role start from £15p/h
* Lead and motivate the hospitality team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximise performance and ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food and beverage service, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of products, menus, ingredients, and allergens.
* Manage stock control, including monthly stock takes, par levels, and ordering.
* Implement and maintain high standards of customer service, resolving issues professionally and working collaboratively with other departments to enhance guest experience.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health & safety, hygiene, and employment law.
* Manage the till system, troubleshooting issues as necessary.
* Actively problem-solve and use initiative to maintain excellent service standards.
* Take responsibility for staff management, including briefing, training, and development.
* Deputise for line manager when required and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
* Implement innovative ideas to enhance guest experience and contribute to the development of frontline teams.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Previous managerial experience in hospitality, with proven ability to manage functions for 200+ guests and facilitate restaurant service for 400+ guests
* Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and colleagues
* Strong organisational skills with a customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering exceptional service and problem-solving
* Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost control, quality assurance, and licensing laws
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
