Position
As part of our ongoing growth, our Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) division is looking to hire an experienced Electrician. The role involves applying electrical system knowledge to complete projects, including wiring, containment, fault-finding on existing systems, and general electrical maintenance.
Further Responsibilities of the Role Include
1. Completing electrical installations to high standards as per company protocols.
2. Installing electrical systems in accordance with 18th edition wiring regulations.
3. Utilizing electrical expertise to troubleshoot and diagnose issues on-site.
4. Conducting site surveys independently or with clients to determine their requirements.
5. Providing survey findings to managers.
6. Offering professional assessments to project managers and clients.
7. Mentoring and passing skills to BJF Group apprentices.
8. Verifying and testing electrical systems, including NICEIC testing and certification.
9. Ensuring health, safety, and wellbeing responsibilities are met, promoting a positive safety culture.
10. Living and promoting BJF TEAMS values.
Requirements
1. Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation (2357).
2. AM2 certification.
3. Testing & Inspection (2391).
4. Completion of 18th Edition Full Classroom Course & IET Wiring Regulations (7671).
5. Membership or certification from PASMA, IPAF, and holding a CSCS/ECS Skills Card.
