We are seeking a Transport Operations Supervisor to be responsible for the overseeing and coordinating transportation operations during the night shift. This role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of vehicles, drivers, and passengers/goods while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Shift Pattern: Rota is 4 on, 4 off, 19.00 till 07.00
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage night-shift transport operations and staff
Allocate vehicles and drivers according to schedules and operational requirements
Monitor trip execution to ensure on-time departures and arrivals
Handle real-time operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, route deviations, or driver shortages
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company transport policies
Conduct driver briefings and ensure adherence to shift protocols
Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, attendance, and incidents
Coordinate with control room, security, and other departments as required
Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, or escalations during the shift
Ensure proper vehicle handover and readiness for the next shift
Report daily operations, incidents, and KPIs to management
Skills & Competencies:
Strong supervisory and people-management skills
Good knowledge of transport operations and routing
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
Effective communication and coordination skills
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, transport management systems, or GPS tools)
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
Qualifications & Experience:
High school / Diploma / Graduate (preferred)
2-5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or fleet supervision
Prior night-shift or 24/7 operations experience preferred
Knowledge of local routes and transport regulations is an advantage
Working Conditions Night shift role, including weekends and holidays as required
Field and office-based work
On-call availability for emergencies during shift hours
