Your new role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing a variety of construction related projects on behalf of the client from initial feasibility through to completion. Projects will range in size and value, but will include the new build, fit-out and refurbishment of offices, laboratories, research facilities, industrial buildings and on-site accommodation.
Key responsibilities include -
1. Manage and deliver a variety of construction projects from feasibility to completion.
2. Undertake feasibility assessments, contract procurement, project planning.
3. Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reporting.
4. Undertake contract administration, progress reports and work alongside the Principal Contractor.
5. Hold and lead on project progress meetings and updates with clients.
6. Ensure compliance is met in relation to health and safety and environmental legislation.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Professional Membership preferred i.e RICS/CIOB/APM
8. Experience of working within a construction consultancy or client side environment
9. Experience of working within the Defence Sector.
10. A proven track record of delivering a variety of construction related projects from inception to completion
11. Strong project management skills, including contract administration
12. Working knowledge of NEC3 contract forms.
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and commercial acumen
14. Must be a UK Citizen to be eligible for security clearance criteria
