Behaviour Mentor – Primary School – Wembley
Location: Wembley, Brent
Start Date: After February Half Term (trial first week back)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)
A primary school in Wembley is looking for a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their team after half term. The school are keen to trial strong candidates in the first week back, with the role continuing for the remainder of the academic year.
This position is ideal for someone who can act as a positive role model and provide structured support to pupils who present with behavioural challenges or SEMH needs.
The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural needs
*
Delivering small group interventions focused on emotional regulation and social skills
*
Acting as a consistent, positive role model
*
Supporting pupils during transitions and less structured parts of the day
*
Working closely with teaching staff and pastoral leads to implement behaviour strategies
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Experience supporting children with behavioural or SEMH needs
*
Background in psychology, youth work, coaching, mentoring or sports leadership desirable
*
Calm, resilient and confident in setting boundaries
*
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport
*
Passionate about making a difference in a primary school setting
