Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair via prebooked appointments, at customers' home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members.
Requirements
* Must have right to work in the UK status.
* Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Must have a minimum 2‑year post‑qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
* The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
* A customer‑focused approach.
* Must have a full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.

Shift and schedule
Home based, working 40 hours per week, across 5 days (Monday to Saturday) 8am – 8pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays. 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional – more flexibility, more reward.

Responsibilities
* Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customer-selected locations such as driveways and office car parks.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
* Handle payments through card transactions.
* Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
