Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver
Location: Long Crendon (Due to the location, you must be able to drive and have your own transport)
Contract Details: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4:45pm and Friday, 8am -2:30pm (39 hours per week, 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
* Receiving, breaking down, and allocating 'Goods In'
* Storing products efficiently using warehouse racking
* Picking and preparing customer orders and completing paperwork
* Despatching goods and coordinating with couriers/transport companies
* Handling customer collections (including cash/cheques to the office)
* Routine warehouse housekeeping and site maintenance
* Assisting with stock checks
* Carrying out daily forklift checks
* Operational maintenance of site equipment
* Ensuring safe storage practices and contributing to a clean working environment
Essential skills:
* Forklift license is essential - though the company will provide renewal training for anyone with an expired licence.
* Experience working within a warehouse, or similar environment
* You must be computer literate, with good written and verbal communication
* Strong numeracy skills
* Strong customer service approach
* Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to follow procedures and work safely
