Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practise and eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register. Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training.

Applications are welcome for the above Permanent, part time (32 hours per week) post based in St John's Hospital.

This is an exciting new opportunity for a Consultant in Palliative Medicine to join the Hospital @ Home team to help provide holistic, comprehensive care to palliative patients in West Lothian.

The post holder will be an integral part of the West Lothian Hospital at Home team (0.8WTE Consultant, 2 WTE Clinical Fellows, 6.8 WTE ANP, 7.5 WTE B6 Nurse Practitioners, 2 WTE CSW), they will also be integrated with the St John's Acute Hospital Palliative Care Team (0.6WTE Consultant and 2 WTE CNS) and will provide clinical oversight to the West Lothian Community Palliative Care Team nurses.
