Main duties of the job Main duties involve supporting the pharmacy team to deliver a high standard pharmaceutical service to our patients at HMP Styal.You will be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations. The role will also include reviewing safe systems of working and controlled drug processes, clinical checking of prescriptions, developing pharmacist led clinics and medicines reviews, responsibility for providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe, cost effective but modern medicines management service is provided to our patients. You will also lead, manage and develop the pharmacy team. Professional support and development will be offered through the pharmacy networks and support staff within the organisation.
