* Pay: £13.80 per hour
* Shifts: Wake and sleep night shifts | Thursday and Friday | 18.30 – 9.00 (sleep 12 – 6)
* Vehicle: Driver required – full UK licence and access to own vehicle; required to drive client's manual car as part of the role.
Job Description
Join a rewarding role providing 1:1 care for a 16‑year‑old girl with a spinal cord injury in her family home. You will be responsible for her safety, comfort, and independence, supporting her to enjoy everyday activities such as reading, watching films, and listening to music.
The client lives at home with her family and their dog. The role involves escorting her to school, supporting her during the night, and ensuring her safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care, bowel management, and catheter care
* Driving to school, appointments, and outings
* Supporting daily routines and interests
Qualifications
Applicants must be comfortable working in a family home with a dog present. A full UK driving licence is required. No prior complex care experience is necessary; you will receive full nurse‑led training and ongoing clinical support.
