We are looking for a friendly individual to join our Residential Conveyancing team as a Legal Secretary at our well-established practice to provide administrative and secretarial support to conveyancers handling residential property transactions.
Responsibilities
* Managing diaries, appointments and deadlines
* Opening, maintaining and closing client files
* Franking letters
* Filing and archiving of documents
* Audio typing letters and forms on a case management system
* Preparing contract packs and supporting documents
* Requesting and chasing property searches
* Drafting standard letters and forms
Requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Basic IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
* Reliable, punctual, and professional manner
* Previous experience in residential conveyancing or legal office administration

We work a 35-hour week from 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday with a 1-hour lunch break at 1pm.
Annual leave starts with 23 days plus bank holidays plus additional leave on length of service.
