We've solved the manufacturing challenge for metal-organicframeworks (MOFs) at industrial scale and cost-effective pricing. MOFs arerevolutionary materials with applications spanning water harvesting, biogasupgrading, gas storage, and carbon capture - but until now, they've been tooexpensive to manufacture commercially.

With our proprietary manufacturing process, we can nowdeliver MOFs that make economic sense for real-world applications. Havingsecured significant funding to scale our operations, we need a skilled businessdevelopment professional to convert this technical breakthrough into commercialsuccess.
We're looking for someone who can identify prospects, buildrelationships, and close deals in emerging applications where MOFs deliverimmediate value - particularly water harvesting, biogas upgrading, and gasstorage.
The Role
In this role you will be responsible for building andconverting our sales pipeline in high-potential application areas. Workingclosely with the Commercial Director, you will focus on identifying,developing, and closing business opportunities that demonstrate the commercialviability of MOF technology in real-world applications.
You will be personally responsible for driving sales inapplications where MOFs can deliver immediate value – e.g. water harvesting,biogas upgrading, and gas storage. This is a hands-on sales role where you'llbe working directly with prospects and customers to understand their technicalchallenges and position MOF solutions as the answer.
As an experienced sales professional, you'll thrive onselling solutions that aren't always clearly defined. You'll work closely withour technical teams to understand customer requirements and help shape productofferings that meet market needs.

Key Areas of Responsibility
The successful candidate should be excited at the prospectof playing a central role in Promethean's mission to commercialise MOFtechnology. You should be comfortable working with urgency in this rapidlyevolving area, prioritising opportunities that deliver results, and appreciatethe importance of collaboration when working in a small, dynamic team.
* Identifyand qualify prospects in target application areas including waterharvesting, biogas upgrading, and gas storage
* Buildand manage a robust sales pipeline, progressing opportunities from initialcontact through to successful conversion
* Workdirectly with prospects and customers to understand their technicalrequirements and present MOF solutions that address their specificchallenges
* Collaboratewith technical teams to develop proposals and solutions that meet customerspecifications
* Conductproduct demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions withpotential customers
* Negotiatecontracts and close deals, working with legal and commercial teams asneeded
* Providemarket feedback to product development teams regarding customerrequirements and competitive landscape
* Representthe company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generateleads and build market presence
* Workclosely with the Commercial Director to refine sales strategies andidentify new market opportunities
Qualifications, skills & experience
* Minimumof 5 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably within engineeredservices, advanced materials, or related technical sectors
* Proventrack record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building successfulcustomer relationships
* Degree-leveleducation, preferably in an engineering discipline (chemical, mechanical)or materials science
* Experienceselling technical products or services to engineering customers
* Comfortableworking with complex, evolving product specifications and customerrequirements
* Strongpresentation and communication skills, able to explain technical conceptsto diverse audiences
* Self-motivatedwith excellent project management and organisational skills
* Experienceworking through complex engineered problems and developing creativesolutions
* Abilityto work independently while collaborating effectively with technical andcommercial teams
* Fluentin written and oral English
* Proficientin CRM systems and standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Asupplementary business qualification (MBA, business degree) would be anadvantage
* Knowledgeof MOF technology or related advanced materials would be beneficial butnot essential
* A right to work in the UK without restriction,as this role does not come with visa sponsorship.
