Quest Employment is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced hygiene operative. Job Summary: The Hygiene Operative is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all non-production areas. This includes ensuring that canteens, kitchens, offices, common areas, and restrooms are kept clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and hygiene regulations. Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 4.15pm Salary: £12.71 Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitise all designated non-production areas, including canteens, kitchens, offices, corridors, and restrooms Ensure all surfaces, floors, and touchpoints are maintained to a high hygienic standard Replenish consumables such as soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, and cleaning supplies Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH and company procedures Dispose of waste appropriately, following recycling and waste management guidelines Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the relevant department Follow cleaning schedules and complete all assigned tasks within required timeframes Maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition and report faults when necessary Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards Skills and Experience: Previous cleaning or hygiene experience preferred but not essential Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of health and safety practices (training can be provided) Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Quest Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
