Due to the continuing development of the Role and the service requirements an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional Specialist Nurse for Adult Support and Protection to work alongside the current Adult Support and Protection Specialist Nurse within Aberdeenshire HSCP.
We are looking for a motivated registered nurse with a genuine interest in Adult Support and Protection as well as all areas of Public Protection.
The Post covers Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership Area and the successful applicant will enhance the capacity to deliver the Service required moving forward into the future. Providing cover over a Monday-Friday supporting the work of NHSG Public Protection Team and AHSCP Adult Protection Network. In addition to this they will be pivotal in raising the profile and leading the ASP agenda in Health Services across Aberdeenshire as well as supporting and developing Multi-Agency working.
The post holder should have in depth knowledge and experience of policy and legislation underpinning contemporary Adult Protection practice with recent experience of application to practice.
* Essential: Registered Nurse or midwife, with a first level degree or relevant qualifications.
* Essential: 5 years post qualifying experience.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills are essential.
