Role: Warehouse Technician
Location: Hinkley Point C Bridgwater Area
Position: Contract - Rolling 12 months
The Opportunity
As a Warehouse Technician, you will support the operational readiness of the Hinkley Point C site. Working within the Commissioning and Maintenance Operations team, you'll help ensure that critical materials and spares are available for commissioning, interim maintenance activities, and long-term station operation.
This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with multiple departments including Pre-Operations, Commissioning, and Installation. You'll also receive full training and access to technical documentation to succeed in your role.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Accurately update and manage inventory systems
2. Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods
3. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and electric carousels
4. Organize and maintain warehouse spaces, ensuring compliance with safety and chemical storage protocols
5. Pick, pack, and label items for use across the HPC project
6. Load and unload materials from vehicles
7. Support logistics operations across the HPC site
What We're Looking For
8. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
9. Comfortable in a physically active role
10. Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, etc.)
11. Experience working with warehouse/inventory management systems
12. Willingness to follow procedures with a questioning attitude
13. Minimum GCSE/National Qualification standards
14. A valid UK driving licence
