EC&I Engineer
Role Overview
The EC&I Engineer will support the delivery of a mechanical and electrical (M&E) package in a nuclear environment near Reading, focusing on ensuring outsourced EC&I design meets project requirements and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee EC&I design and build elements.
* Review and validate subcontractor drawings and documentation.
* Raise and resolve technical queries.
* Support project scheduling and delivery.
* Witness factory acceptance tests and project sign-off.
* Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Required Experience & Skills
* Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
* Experience in regulated industries (preferably nuclear).
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle and electrical safety standards (e.g., 18th Edition, BS EN 13849).
* Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLCs.
* Technical writing and documentation skills.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 environments.
Qualifications
* ECS Card (essential).
* Eligible for SC clearance (required).
