We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Admin Assistant / Assistant Buyer to support our Groundworks team. This is a 3-month contract position, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and an interest in construction procurement. You will play a key role in managing material requisitions, coordinating orders, and supporting our in-house groundworks operations. Key Responsibilities: * Manage material and service requisitions using the Asite document control system * Compile and organise relevant information to support procurement enquiries * Issue enquiries for materials and plant hire to support the groundworks team * Collaborate closely with site teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective procurement processes * Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and maintain clear communication with site and commercial teams * Maintain and update procurement trackers to ensure timely action on enquiries and orders * Process weekly labour payments for groundworks staff Key Skills & Attributes: * High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel * Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams * Previous experience or understanding of the construction industry is beneficial, but not essential * A proactive and flexible approach to tasks and the ability to adapt to changing priorities In return, we provide a competitive salary
