What you’ll be doing:
* Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store, while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
* Often, you will run a full store operation overnight, being responsible for the entire shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
* Ensuring that standards are maintained at a high level so the store is ready to serve customers in the morning.
* Managing people, including performance, capability, disciplinary actions, scheduling, and pay.
Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over 4 nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary (shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00).
What makes a great nightshift manager:
* Comfortable with nightshift work and adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the team.
* Experience in line management within a fast-paced, operational setting.
* Resilient to the demands of night working.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to coach a team to do the same.
* Experience in monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
* Ability to handle disciplinary, performance, and employee relations issues.
* Comfortable leading operations independently in the absence of senior management.
