Prospero Teaching are seeking a patient, engaging, and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support a young person currently in Year 7, working on the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The student has a diagnosis of Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They are a keen learner who thrives with positive feedback, confidence-building, and practical, hands-on activities. The tutor will focus on English and Maths, adapting sessions to suit the learner's pace and preferred learning style. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a young person's educational journey. As a Tutor, you will: Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions in English and Maths. Use practical and creative approaches to engage the learner. Build a trusting and encouraging relationship to boost confidence and self-esteem. Provide regular positive reinforcement and celebrate progress. About you: Experience working with learners with SEN. Strong understanding of KS2 English and Maths. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style. Ability to build rapport and motivate learners.
