As the
Client Strategy Director
at Bottled Imagination, you'll lead the strategic vision for our clients. You'll work at the intersection of brand, PR, creativity, and insight—ensuring that we are delivering a Bottled Imagination experience for all of our clients.
You'll be the go-to trusted advisor internally and for the clients. Shaping integrated campaigns, forging strong client relationships, and guiding our teams to deliver work that's as imaginative and impactful.
The day to day
* Lead strategic direction across client portfolios—translating business goals into cohesive narrative and campaign strategies that span PR, creative and Search.
* Act as the senior client-facing lead—deeply understanding client businesses, sectors, audiences, and competitors to inform strategy.
* Develop and deliver compelling strategic frameworks, presentations, and pitches that resonate with senior stakeholders.
* Oversee budget, forecasting, and long-term strategic investment discussions, aligning scope and profitability.
* Mentor client-facing teams—providing guidance, support, and develop their client facing PR strategies
* Advance our PR strategy offering across our pods
* Collaborate across PR. creative and strategy teams to ensure consistency and excellence in execution.
* Stay attuned to industry trends, emerging platforms, and audience shifts—bringing forward-looking thinking into clients' strategies.
What we are looking for
* 7– 10+ years of experience in client strategy, ideally within PR, integrated, or media agencies—3+ years in a leadership capacity.
* A strategic thinker with a flair for translating data and insight into creative storytelling and effective campaigns.
* An extremely experienced PR pro who has experience across Digital PR and wider PR and brand strategies
* The ability to have commercial discussions about how clients can grow their revenue through PR and Search
* Target driven without sacrificing quality of delivery or happiness of the team
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills—capable of leading board-level discussions and guiding internal teams.
* Experience planning budgets, forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities within agency or client environments.
* A natural mentor: adept at growing talent, fostering collaboration, and nurturing team capabilities.
* A keen sense of market trends, media landscapes, and audience behaviour to keep ideas ahead of the curve.
