Lookers Middlesbrough Hub
Up to £50,000 OTE per annum, including £25,000 basic plus commission
44 hours per week, rota pattern includes (Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, Saturday 9-5.30pm, Sunday 10-4pm)
You’ll work at the Lookers Car Hub in Middlesbrough, a one stop shop where customers can buy a quality used car, book in for repair work, recharge or refuel their car, and learn about the future of motoring. The Hub will stock around 300 cars, have an onsite workshop and loads of other resources for customers.
As a used car sales executive you be working with customers to help them find the best car from a wide range of brands and prices. You will develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too. In this role you reporting into the Sales Manager who has an incredible portfolio of experience in the Automotive industry, and you will be responsible for our on-site team of Used Car Sales Executives. You will oversee the day to day running of the showroom including vehicle valuations and sales; supervising the vehicle journey from workshop prep right through to imaging and showroom presentation. You will work alongside the divisional buyer, dedicated prep Technicians, detailers, and photography team so that you can deliver marketing standards.
Responsibilities
1. Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person ensuring you create a welcoming environment at all times
2. Communicating effectively with customers and listening intently to their wants and needs, in order to suggest suitable vehicles that match their requirements
3. Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
4. Negotiating the final price for the sale
5. Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
6. Liaising with all the relevant departments throughout the whole sales process to ensure an efficient and smooth transaction
Prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations, and have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
