Domus Recruitment are looking for a Nursing Home Manager based in the Staffordshire area to oversee a medium sized Home for the Elderly. You will have full oversight of this home, which supports older people. This opportunity is for a small group with a great ethos, looking for an individual to help propel the service towards an outstanding CQC rating.
Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager:
1. Managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals.
2. Ensuring the provision of high-quality care.
3. Overseeing the care staff.
4. Lead by example to further develop the reputation of the home.
Nursing Home Manager Requirements:
5. Previous experience as a Home Manager leading and developing strong teams.
6. Nurse qualified with active PIN is essential.
7. Passion and drive to always deliver ‘outstanding’ care.
8. Sound knowledge of CQC Regulations and legislation.
9. Excellent organisation and planning skills.
10. Strong communication skills and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
11. Sound business acumen and experience in managing budgets
