Are you an experienced Assistant Transport Manager?
Reporting to the Senior Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for our Industrial and Commercial operation in Exeter. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vehicle fleet.
We’re looking for someone who thrives under pressure, has excellent IT and numeracy skills, and ideally has at least two years' experience managing a fleet of 10+ HGVs.
We offer a base salary of £37,135 - £43,561 plus benefits including a company car or car allowance (between £6,715.30 and £7,356.10 per annum), 25 days holiday, a 5% employer pension contribution, and up to a 10% annual bonus.
Internally, this role is called Assistant Service Delivery Manager.
About The Role
What will I be doing?
* Coordinating fleet requirements to ensure optimal availability with internal and external providers
* Managing the profitability of mobile compaction routes and other systems concerning distance traveled, pricing, and disposal of work
* Ensuring vehicle maintenance and operation in accordance with policies and procedures
* Ensuring driver compliance with all Road Transport Legislation
* Completing site and route risk assessments

* Transport Manager CPC
* IOSH (Desirable)
* Waste management experience (Desirable)
* Strong IT skills
