We're seeking a Shift Maintenance Technician to support a highly automated customer site for a globally recognised organisation. You'll maintain and repair automated material handling equipment, ensuring strong system performance, KPI delivery, and excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain, repair, and service equipment on site
* Ensure system performance meets KPI targets
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, PLC, and PC-related faults
* Carry out planned maintenance and scheduled repairs
* Prioritise faults to maintain product flow
* Record maintenance activity and manage spare parts
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain Health & Safety compliance and professional customer relationships
What We're Looking For:
* NVQ / ONC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience with automated material handling/conveyor systems
* Basic PLC and fault-finding knowledge
* Good PC skills and understanding of PPM
* Strong Health & Safety awareness (IOSH desirable)
* Willingness to work at height and manage contractors if needed
