Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our Client, an engineering company, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a permanent position in Hull location. This role is placed within Oil & Gas, Construction, engineering or highly regulated industries.
Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be working on the Puma project based at Saltend in Hull, responsible for undertaking specific commercial activities.
Responsibilities
* Month End Auto-WIP & Journal returns
* Coordination of AFC & internal rolling forecasts
* Provision of information for monthly reports
* Review of EW notifications and responses (downstream & upstream)
* liaison with client on compensation events, payment allocation queries or disallowed items
* Cost analysis via SAP & Power BI
* Assisting CM on compilation of Project Board Reports
* Update commercial registers (CE, EW, Plant, Sales Invoices, etc.)
* Drafting notifications including letters, overseeing subcontract management processes, value analysis – SOR, FP, day works
* Calculation & remeasurement of BOQ
* Change Management – notification, quotation & agreement of compensation events
Experience
* Knowledge of NAECI Agreement
* Experience on major construction projects
* NEC4 Option B contracts
* Standard Method of Measurement
* Basic knowledge of P6 programmes
Salary information: Living away allowance of £355.67 if more than 45 miles from site. Company pension scheme. Private medical insurance. Personal accident insurance. 25 days annual holiday plus ability to buy/sell up to 5 days. Overtime payable at basic rate for weekend working. Dental plan & death in service.
