A major name in the financial services domain is looking for Product Managers to join them twice a week in Northampton. The product involves a major transformation in the Data space, related to the introduction and implementation of GenAI and LLM tooling in the customer facing environment.
We have 9 seats to fill across AVP, VP, and Lead VP levels - so please don\'t hesitate to apply due to concerns around seniority.
Responsibilities
* Provide subject matter expertise to bridge product, technical, and business teams, ensuring alignment between strategy, design, and delivery.
* Support the development and execution of the product strategy and roadmap, clearly communicating vision, priorities, and progress to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value, feasibility, and security.
* Implement assessments and continuous testing processes to maintain and enhance product quality and performance.
* Monitor and analyse product performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and ensuring adherence to performance standards.
* Stay informed on emerging industry trends and technologies, evaluating and adopting innovations that improve product development and delivery.
* Contribute to setting strategy, managing resources, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with policies, controls, and governance.
* Lead, coach, and develop teams (or guide peers as a subject matter expert), fostering collaboration, growth, and alignment with LEAD behaviours.
* Advise senior management and cross-functional teams on strategic and operational impacts, using data-driven insights and innovative problem-solving.
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals through effective communication, influence, and trust.
Requirements
* Proven product management experience with end-to-end ownership of strategy, roadmap, and delivery for complex data or technology products.
* Strong leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring cross-functional teams and mentoring future product managers.
* Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities, influencing senior and executive decision-makers.
* Expertise in managing product backlogs, prioritising features, and delivering large-scale initiatives in agile environments.
* Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and modern cloud-based data platforms, with technical fluency to collaborate with engineering and analytics teams.
* Experience applying AI and machine learning to enterprise-scale data products.
* Background in financial services or other regulated industries where data is critical to business value.
* Familiarity with technical product management and emerging data technologies that enable scalable, data-driven solutions.
