TEACHING ASSISTANT TA3 EARLY YEARS (RECEPTION YEAR)

Summary The Governors of Manor Beach Primary School are looking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant for 28.75 hours per week to start as soon as possible. This post is part time, term time only, temporary from September 2025 to July 2026 with possible extension based on budget. Please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be on a pro-rata basis. Position salary is Grade 6, Monday to Friday, term-time only. Times required to work will be 08:50 to 12pm and 1pm to 3:30pm each day.

Essential Qualifications

* NVQ Level 3 or above (or equivalent)
* Maths GCSE or equivalent
* English GCSE or equivalent

Desirable Qualifications

* Paediatric First Aid
* Forest School Training

Essential Experience

* Experience of working in Early Years in a school setting
* Sound knowledge of EYFS curriculum in a school setting
* Sound understanding of typical development of children in the Early Years
* Ability to plan and deliver effective learning experiences
* Experience of cover supervision for whole classes

Desirable Experience

* +2 years experience in a school based Early Years Setting as TA3 or above
* Experience of supporting pupils with SEND
