Senior Audit Director / RI Partner Designate
Join a Top 40 accountancy and advisory practice with a strong regional presence and a reputation for its consultancy-led, holistic approach. Based 4 days a week in the Bicester office, this opportunity is ideal for a Senior Audit Manager or existing RI looking to take the next step towards Partner level and contribute to the continued growth of a regional centre of excellence.
If you’re not yet an RI, full competency support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead audits from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Review financial statements and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Manage, mentor, and develop audit staff, conducting regular reviews and providing ongoing coaching.
* Support resourcing and workflow management across the audit department.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and added value.
* Deliver CPD training and stay abreast of technical and legislative developments.
* Begin to build and manage your own client portfolio, with full Partner-level support.
About You
* ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
* Proven experience leading audits from planning to completion.
* Excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Confident communicator with credibility at board level.
* Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about driving audit quality and team development.
* RI status (or currently working towards it).
