We currently have an opportunity forChef De Partie to join our team at Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.
This opportunity will be to join the team for the 2025/26 Football Season. With the opportunity to work at Matchdays and Non matchdays, this is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative catering facility. The hospitality areas require Bar Staff, Food Runners and Plate Waiters to work in the bustling, friendly hospitality areas within the stadium.
We are looking for outstanding customer focused individuals to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression. Ideally you will have worked within the hospitality sector previously and have a good foundation and knowledge of customer service.
Station Management and Preparation
3. Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation
4. Prepare ingredients and components specific to their station (, Soup, Starters, dessert)
5. Ensure mise en place is complete and accessible for service
Cooking and Plating
6. Cook food items according to the menu and Lead Chef’s instructions
7. Plate dishes with speed, consistency, and attention to presentation
8. Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and quality level
Service Coordination
9. Work in sync with other line chefs to ensure dishes go out together and on time
10. Adapt pace based on live service demands (, plated dinner vs. buffet)
11. Communicate any delays or issues to the Lead Chef immediately
Cleanliness and Food Safety
12. Follow all hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP standards, allergen controls, cross-contamination rules)
13. Keep workstation clean during service and sanitize surfaces regularly
14. Handle and store food safely,
Event-Specific Duties
15. Assist in setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after the event
16. Be prepared to pivot to different roles if needed (, assisting another station or prepping extra portions)
17. Excellent verbal communication skills
18. Being friendly yet professional
19. Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
20. Good attention to detail and punctuality
21. Being proactive is key
22. Experience within hospitality kitchens
23. A flexible “can do” attitude
24. The ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment
25. Adaptability to different venues, equipment, and layouts
